As Jack Frost starts nibbling at your nose.. we have to think warm thoughts..and what warmer thought than Christmas!! The season of giving and a personal favourite holiday of mine! Speaking of giving.. there's a new project starting out that gives students an opportunity to volunteer in Sri Lanka for 4 months or a take a co-op work term teaching English or technology to children who desperately want to learn. It's an awesome project that is just about to get started and the first batch of students are going to leave this coming year in January. So if any of you are interested in the Vanni Innovation Group or perhaps know of others who may be interested, "inspire, inform, involve" <-- couldn't have said it better myself! For further information check out www.vannigroup.org

Now I must be getting back to the little things in life that keep us running around. For those of you settling down to write final exams, best of luck! For those already done, you lucky ducks! For everyone including the above mentioned, have a warm holiday and loving season!!

Til next time, never stop dreaming!

Wow, I've actually gotten myself one of these update pages now! Yay! I guess I'm a relatively new member, as I only joined TIG last week, but already I've met so many wonderful people and have read about really amazing projects going on all over the planet.

This is one of the most amazing sites I think, as it connects each of us to others who are also passionate about helping people and making this world a better place.
Keep up the awesome work, guys!

The picture I have above was obtained from an e-mail, so I'm not sure of it's orgin, but if it makes someone mad, then let me know and it shall disappear!

That's it for now, but more to come from me as time passes!
